Criterion’s February Releases and some more news.
16 NovHappy Weekend everyone!
Criterion has just announced their February slate of releases. On FEB. 4 JULES & JIM is getting a re-release on a DVD/BLU-RAY Combo with a new 2K restoration. FEB. 11 brings Palme D’or winner BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOR on separate DVD and BLU-RAY releases. FEB. 18 has Hitchcock’s FOREIGN CORRESPONDENT on DVD/BLU-RAY Combo and Wes Anderson’s FANTASTIC MR FOX on a DVD/BLU-RAY Combo. And finally on FEB. 25 Criterion has three more starting with a new transfer for Godard’s BREATHLESS on a DVD/BLU-RAY Combo, Polanski’s TESS comes out on a DVD/BLU-RAY Combo with a new 4K transfer, and finally Soderbergh’s long awaited KING OF THE HILL makes it digital debut in a DVD/BLU-RAY Combo. That means KAFKA is the only Soderbergh movie not on DVD or Blu-Ray in North America. Maybe this is a sign of things to come.
